Monitoring and status page

Know the moment your site stops responding.

Uptiamo checks your sites and APIs as often as every 30 seconds, alerts you by e-mail, Slack, webhook or SMS, and keeps your customers informed on a status page under your own name. For B2B SaaS teams.

Why Uptiamo

An outage spotted, confirmed, announced

Monitoring and a status page in one tool, hosted in France.

  • Alerts without false outages

After a first failure, Uptiamo checks again 15 seconds later. An incident opens only after two failures in a row, and never when the problem is on our own network.

  • Your customers kept informed

A public status page, with its incidents, its maintenance windows and e-mail subscriptions.

  • Certificates watched

An alert 30, 14, 7 and 1 day before your site's certificate expires.

  • Hosted in France

Your data and our probes stay in France, at Scaleway.

How it works

Three steps, from your URL to your status page

  1. Add an address

An HTTP or HTTPS URL, how often to check it and, if you like, a keyword to find on the page.

  2. Choose your alerts

E-mail to members of your team, Slack, webhook or SMS, for all your monitors or only some of them.

  3. Publish your status page

Link its components to your monitors. When an incident opens, Uptiamo drafts a post that you review before publishing it.

What Uptiamo checks

More than a ping

  • 200 to 399

    Status code

The codes expected by default, after redirects. You can choose your own.

  • present or absent

    Keyword

A text to find, or not to find, in the response.

  • HTTPS

    TLS certificate

Its validity at every check, and its expiry date.

  • up to 30 s

    Response time

Your site must answer within the timeout you set.

  • 30 s to 1 h

    Frequency

The shortest interval depends on your plan.

Alerts

Alerted where you work

A reminder if the incident lasts, and a message when the site is back.

  • E-mail

To the members of your account you choose, each in their own language.

  • Slack

In the channel of your choice, through an incoming webhook.

  • Webhook

Signed events to your own tool, with retries.

  • SMS

On paid plans, to numbers verified by a code.

Status page

A status page under your own name

  • On your domain

For example status.yoursite.com, from the Starter plan.

  • 90-day availability

The state of each component, and its availability day by day.

  • Subscribers notified

E-mail subscription with double opt-in, one-click unsubscribe, and an Atom feed.

  • Seven languages

English, French, Italian, Spanish, German, and Portuguese from Portugal and Brazil.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where are the checks made from?

From a single server, in Paris. Uptiamo does not check your site from several countries yet. To avoid false alerts, a failure is confirmed by a second check, and Uptiamo also watches reference sites: if they fail at the same time, the problem is on our side, and no incident is opened for you.

What happens if your server goes down?

Our probes are watched by an outside service, which warns us if they stop. Status pages are served by the same server as the probes: if it goes down, they are unavailable too.

Which addresses can I monitor?

Public HTTP or HTTPS addresses, on ports 80, 443, 8080 and 8443, with the GET or HEAD methods. Uptiamo refuses internal addresses.

Does maintenance trigger an alert?

No. During a maintenance window published on your status page, the components it covers open no incident and send no alert, and that time does not count in the availability shown.

Do incidents appear on my status page on their own?

Not by default: Uptiamo drafts a post that you review before publishing it. You can choose to publish them automatically, page by page.

Where is my data hosted?

In France, at Scaleway.
